Working with Ispire was an insightful experience, collaborating with a talented team in the rapidly evolving "Wild West" of the cannabis hardware space. Designing for this industry required navigating ever-changing regulations and differentiating factors across various cannabis products and state markets. This role offered an eye-opening opportunity to understand the nuances of the products and their unique challenges.
As a Senior Designer—and often an on-the-fly Creative Director—I was responsible for defining the brand's look and feel, designing physical products and devices, and collaborating with partners to create exclusive, limited-edition drops.

Unconventional Convention Team Long Sleeve Tees
By strategically utilizing the shirt’s real estate, I crafted an eye-catching design that not only looked great but also served a functional purpose—efficiently capturing leads from busy convention attendees on the fly with a scan of their phone.
Convention Mylar bags:
My goal was to design packaging that complemented the shirts at the convention, presenting a cohesive and unified look. To achieve this, I developed a versatile mylar bag that could accommodate various product sizes. The design featured a window and a top opening, allowing future clients to conveniently test and sample their desired products. This flexible and functional packaging solution not only streamlined our inventory but also enabled us to order in bulk, reducing costs while maintaining consistency across different product sizes while accommodating for the charger as well.
Ispire Cart and Disposable Recycling Program and Pop Display
To tackle the pressing issue of plastic waste, we sought to lead a sustainability initiative that encouraged customers to recycle their old products. Central to this effort was the design of in-store pop-up recycling displays, carefully tailored to suit a variety of retail environments. These displays were thoughtfully crafted to be both functional and visually engaging, creating a seamless integration into the store's aesthetic while promoting eco-conscious behavior.
Throughout the design and ideation process, we prioritized the use of recycled materials, ensuring the initiative itself reflected the values it aimed to promote. By combining innovative design with sustainable practices, the displays not only facilitated recycling but also communicated a strong brand commitment to environmental responsibility, inspiring customers to participate in reducing plastic waste.
Cookies Collaboration
From concept to final product, I collaborated closely with the head of Cookies CBD to create a custom vape design that would both combat counterfeit goods and establish a distinctive new product line. The process began with hands-on brainstorming sessions where we reviewed physical examples of desired shapes, drawing inspiration from existing designs while envisioning something entirely unique.
Building on these ideas, I translated our discussions into detailed sketches that captured the essence of the envisioned product. With these sketches in hand, I oversaw a 3D designer to develop precise 3D models, ensuring that every detail aligned with the brand's vision and functional requirements. These models were then 3D printed, allowing us to test and refine the design further before finalizing it for mass production.
This collaborative and iterative approach not only resulted in a product that stood out in the marketplace but also reinforced Cookies CBD's commitment to innovation, quality, and brand integrity.
In addition to developing the custom shape, we designed the Ispire x Cookies product to amplify the launch of this highly anticipated collaboration. The goal was to create a product that seamlessly combined the cutting-edge technology of Ispire with the bold branding and cultural influence of Cookies.
This collaboration went beyond just functionality, focusing on crafting a distinctive design that reflected the essence of both brands while appealing to a discerning customer base. From packaging to product aesthetics, every detail was carefully considered to ensure the launch made a strong visual and market impact, reinforcing the premium nature of the partnership.
